Going home after school.
Watching the scenery pass by the train window.
I realised all of a sudden.
Just like the passing scenery.
Life goes on.
No matter what happens.
Even though at times.
Things may happen.
Which changes or affects people everyday.
Bringing their trains of life to a stop at a station.
And like the boarding and alighting passengers.
Memories are created and forgotten.
At these stations of life.
But eventually.
Just like the train.
We'll leave the station on the tracks of time.
Leaving the stations,events,people and memories behind.
Always moving on..
Until the end of the day comes.
Where like the trains.
We will finally be able to go home.
To our "terminal" of rest.
And finally sleep.
Until the next day.
When the passing scenery.
And stations will once again fill our everyday lives.
In the end.
Human beings are nothing.
But helpless trains.
Travelling on the rails mapped out by time.
Day by day.
Year by year.
Decade by decade.
Until the day when.
The trains are no longer able to run.
When our bodies finally say.
"I give up."
And only then.
Will we be able to rest.
In eternal tranquility.

The Dance Club Dairies
Chapter 4 - "You Dance.I Dance."(Part 1 -"You are the chosen ones.")
Dear Dairy.
I'm telling you.
This has gotta be the craziest and and most exciting week in my entire life.
Even though the holidays would be ending in barely 2 days time.
And I would have to go back to the tiring life of waking up at 6.30am every morning. And rushing off to school.
But who cares.Life is great.
And no.I have not gone nuts.
It's just that.
Dance Club has been so much fun lately that everything else.
Suddenly seems relatively unimportant.
Now you may be wondering why.
Hehe.Let me tell you now.
Now after the Thomas "Waterfall" incident.Dance practices basically went back to normal.With everyone getting more and more used to the prop fans with the passing of each practice.Therefore reducing the number of accidents and time we have to restart a dance sequence.And somehow coincidentally.The attendance for the practices started improving miraculously.Most likely caused by the constant nagging and repeated calls on the handphone by Madam Chan,the dance teacher in charge.And everyone knew how irritating she can be,espcially when she starts doing the "if you don't come for dance practice I'll call up your parents "stuff.Thus.Most of them probably thought the better of it and decided to avoid crossing her path by coming for dance.That included her,
Anyway.Probably realising that that the the dancers were finally getting their act together and treating dance practices more seriously.Madam Tan's temper immediately took a change for the better,so much so that she stopped scolding us completely.And even when we repeatedly made the same mistake or did a wrong move during practice,she would just smile and tell us to try again.And of course,with people like Andy,Thomas,Bryan and me around.There would never be a day whereby something funny won't happen.Occasioanlly.A lame joke here.An "Argg!My back!"there.And of course.Thomas' insistance on him having learnt ballet before and Andy mimicking his "Waterfall!"And thus,dance practices was once again filled with sounds of fun and laughter.Just like the good old days.
Now it was in the midst of the last practice in the third week when Madam Tan,or Lao Shi as we have gotten used to calling her now,suddenly told us guys to take a rest as she had something to discuss with the girls.Now.Thinking that Lao Shi probably wanted to teach the girls a particular new move again,we didn't give much thought about it and simply went to the side of the gym to rest.There,we drank some water while discussing some of the difficult moves.As usual.Even though I was the lousiest dancer among the guys at that time,I wasn't really paying attention to Andy while he was explaining to Bryan and Thomas about how to execute certain moves.Instead,I was simply staring at her fixedly in the distance,where she and the girls were seated down listening to Lao Shi.Looking at her,my thoughts were:Haiz.Even after almost 2 months in dance,I had hardly spoken to her.Much less know her better.Wonder when I would be finally be able to talk to her normally without like a friend.......Damn it.Why did I choose to enter a boy's school last time?
It was in the midst of my thoughts that all the girls suddenly gasped very loudly,and then some of then began giggling and talking among themselves about something.As they were at the other end of the gym,I couldn't really make out what Lao Shi had told them that made them react in such a big way.Yet.call it six sense or whatever,I somehow got a strange feeling that whatever it was she said,it had something to do with us.it was then that I realised that something was happening again.Lao Shi began pointing at one of the girls.With which the girl reluctantly stood up,and all the other girls began clapping their hands and cheering.It was Lindy.Hmm....She seems to have been chosen for something,I wonder what.Then,Lao Shi pointed again.This time I was really surprised.Lao Shi had chosen her!Even though it was apparent that she was really reluctant to have been chosen.Now what was Lao Shi choosing for?I was getting really curious now.Once more,she pointed.Huizhu this time.Again.The same reluctance.Suddenly all this seem to be getting uncomfortably familiar.Finally,she paused for a moment,thinking,before pointing at one final girl.This time.It was Jessie,who almost shrieked in protest but yet,couldn't do anything about stand up in the end.
Now.By this time.I really couldn't stand it any longer and decided to tell Andy and the others about what was happening.Apparently,they were all so engrossed in the discussion of a certain move that they were oblivious to what had just happened."Guys..eh guys..GUYS.LOOK.Something is happening."Only when I finally half shouted,did the 3 of them finally look up and realise what was happening.As usual,Thomas like immediately began firing away."What's happening?Neo...what's happening huh....what's happening?What happened?Tell me leh.."HELLO.If I knew,I wouldn't have to ask you guys to take a look too and figure out what's happening already.DUH.Ignoring him,me Andy and Bryan only looked on silently and curiously as we saw Lao Shi gathering her 2 student instructors and the 4 of them together and slowly made their towards our direction.Damn.Me and my stupid intuition!Now I'm sure it definitely had something to do with us!Shit.
Finally,Lao Shi and the others made their way to our end of the gym.And upon reaching here.I couldn't help but notice that Jessie,Lindy,Huizhu and her were all giggling and whispering away when they saw us.And while they stood there.Lao Shi stepped forward and said with almost a booming voice,"OK GUYS!Rested enough already right?Stand up now.I got something new to teach you guys today."Looking at each other puzzledly,we could only follow her instructions and promptly stood up one by one.With all of us standing up.I was almost dying of curiousity and in anticipation about what Lao Shi was gonna announce that I almost wanted to shout "JUST TELL US NOW ALREADY!"Which I obviously didn't.Seeing that all of us were looking at her in anticipation and curiousity.Lao Shi finally said.
"Ok guys.Today I'm gonna teach you how to do couple dance.Jessie,Lindy,Huizhu and Germac have been chosen to be each of your individual dance partners.All of you should feel proud,especially the girls.Cause you are the chosen ones.The only ones who can do this difficult dance."
