Oh boy.

I was sick.And I mean really nose leaking head spinning sick.
Unfortunately I was bored as hell too.

And somehow.I ended up discovering this very mysterious trailer on Apple.
After watching it.I can only say one thing about the movie's producers.

Geniuses.

Like a certain comment I read off the internet.
"This is viral advertising at it's best."

As in "monkey see.monkey tell other monkeys." kinda advertising.

And believe me.You would be just as curious after watching it.
Although sadly there's absolutely no clue at all on the Internet as to what the movie is about.

But that aside though.It's a really good trailer.

Hmmm....for a long time now.

I've heard so much about the fantastic view that you get to see on top of the DHL hot air balloon at Bugis.And after riding it today.I can't help but agree with how right those people were.The view was absolutely breathtaking.Although at the beginning of the ride,when the balloon started rising....it got a little scary as the balloon started swaying due to a strong breeze blowing.Luckily I kinda got used to it after a while and thus began taking pictures of the scenary,as well as with Davin and Xiang,who were also on the balloon together with me.But I was kinda surprised when barely 10 mins later,the ride was over and we were back on the ground.Sigh...just when it was getting fun.

Come to think of it.$35 for a 10 mins ride, even though a fun ride like this one, is still a little too steep ba.

Which is why Neo San is very happy that he got to ride in the hot air balloon for FREE.Courtesy of livEVIL friend Amelia who works there.Thank you so much Amelia! :)

*Laughs at a particular moron who had to pay recently.*

Anyway.All this aside though.I'm really glad I decided to join Xiang and Davin for a shopping trip at Bugis today.Firstly.I got to ride in the hot air balloon ride which I've always wanted to try.Secondly,I finally found myself a really nice top for the next gig.And last but most importantly...I discovered that someone....

Hahahahaha.Ok this shall remain as a personal joke or I'm probably gonna be skinned alive by the person.Anyway.Think I gonna stop here for now.Am totally beat after the run.Till the next post.Here are some pictures taken during the hot air balloon ride today.

Somehow.I'm reeling really greateful for everything that I have now.
Looking back at the Neo a year ago.I can't help but be amazed by what the those inspirational people that have entered my life have taught...changed and molded me into the person I am today.

I mean.Maybe I am sounding a little exaggerating..to the point whereby it's almost as if I won the Nobel Prize or something.But honestly.My life has completely taken a hundred & eighty degree change.For the better of course.

I guess.I've finally filled up the quota of tribulation time that God has allocated for me(for now)and he's now cutting me some slack in life at last.I guess I should stop complaining and start giving thanks to him for a change now.

Which is the purpose of this post.

Now people...dun yawn or stop reading.Once in a while.We should all be thankful for the things we have.And it doesn't take a Nobel Prize Speech to express thanks to the big guy up there for the things he has given you.This of course does not apply to those egostic pricks whose universe revolves around them and believes all their achievements to be a mere consequence of their own action since they "Gods" capable of achieving anything and everything they want.Well.To those people who fall in this category and are reading my blog right now.Kindly talk to the hand.Or go fly a kite.Thanks.:)

Alright.Now to things proper.

Firstly.I'm thankful that a certain good friend of mine has brought me into the world of vices and sin.And allowed me to see the true nature of people.And also experienced an unforgettable period of time in my life in which I've made so many different friends...learnt many important lessons in life and experienced truly enjoyable outings which I would never even have dared to venture or think aoubt without him cos I was so swaku.

Secondly.I'm thankful that becuase of this friend above.I had the opportunity of knowing this very influential person that would change my life and possibly even my future.To the point of helping me realise a dream I've never even thought possible.And that is to perform on stage for an audience.My audience.Our audience.livEVIL's audience.That person is my band leader.And of course.The gratitude goes no less to the other members in the band....whose tremendous effort has resulted in all of the band's current achievments.And I know that the band is not just gonna stop here.Everyone is aiming for the big one.Going pro and releasing our very own album.Somehow.That dream doesn't seem very far away.Let's work hard guys. :)

Thirdly.Of course...I'm really thankful that I've been given a chance to go to University.And even though I've taken such a huge detour to reach my destination at last.I still feel that....arriving late is better than not arriving at all.And of course....I'm thankful for finally becoming a part of the huge Echomusic family...having a permanent position in the company at last(even though it's just a normal post)Like I said.I'm givig thanks for what I have.

Fourthly.I'm thankful that after a year of indulging in vices and happy times.I've finally had my fill and has decided that it's time to stop.Of course...those were not exactly healthy or construtive times la...but definitely...they were memorable times spent with good brothers,friends,or just acuquaintances....who have come together to enjoy and made all our lonely and repeatitive lives a little more bearable.And before those moral extremists or self righteous assholes come screaming at me again.I will give you two options.Option A:Either you can perform one of the two actions above.Which is to talk to the hand or go fly a kite.Or.Option B:You can start thinking about it in a more rational way...which unfortunately you're NOT doing even though you think so.You see.The fact is that I've gone over to the "Dark Side of the Force" and back and learnt lessons about people...useful lessons that you never ever will in your entire boring life.So shut up and quit yapping about morals and just.Then again.Since you're "all knowing" and dun need to learn such lessons...I'm just wasting my time telling you this right?So...I think you should stick with Option A and stay put in your little comfort zone.

Oh well.This was supposed to be a short post.I guess I got carried away....

Nevermind.Bear with me alonger ya..I shall end it with the following last sentence.

Last but not least.I'm thankful that she came into my life.At last. :)

Sigh....still feeling tired and sleepy from yesterday.
But what to do.No work no pay makes Neo a very sian 1/2 boy.
So here I am....enduring the last 2 hours of work by blogging.

I've decided from now on that I shall update my blog more often from now on.
It makes me feel less...

Zombified.

This way..I'll get less tag-boardnagging less too ba.Hehe.Just kidding people. :P
Well.Started the crazy day off by trying out one hell of a new outrageous hairstyle.Used a hell lot of wax and hair spray too.But well...was kinda surprised when it actually turned out pretty ok.Even though as usual,the rest of the band had other opinions la.(will try to post pics at the end.)

BAHHH....they forever critical about my style one la. /auto-ignore

Anyway.Reason for the hairdo?First.Wanted to try see if the by following the instructions on Youtube I can get the same effect as the artiste inside.Second.Was attending a cosplay festival at Taka later on with some friends and didn't wanna look too sloppy so..Third and last reason.The band was having an audition at Peninsula Plaza for an upcoming gig at Vivocity.Again.Didn't wanna look too sloopy so....But who would have thought...

1.Ariving at Takashimaya,was informed that I wasn't ALLOWED to enter the premises due to ONE of my metal accessories being deemed likely to be used as a weapon.UNLESS.I passed it to someone who was gonna stay outside.

Hello Mr Policeman.In the first place I'm wearing it because it is the COS FEST lo.And secondly...why would any of my friends wanna stay outside when they can go in...UNLIKE ME.Duh right?And thirdly...I really dun think my little metal accessory is gonna pose a real threat or do much against the ten thousand "ambai"s and bodybuards hidden in the crowd protecting our dear VVIP(no names cos dun wanna eat black bean rice for nothing.)...if I'm so stupid to want to do such a thing in the first place.

Anyway to sum it.I had to watch the whole thing from outside the barricade.And well.Since the audition time was fast approaching anyway.I infromed my friends that I'll be elaving first and joining them again later.

2.Arriving at the jamming studio at Peninsula Plaza.Everyone came to a sudden realization that.

We've probably overdressed.Or over equipped.

I mean come on.The studio was even smaller than the one we jam in at Boon's loh.What worse.Guess who were auditioning us?

Two 15 year old poly students.Excluding some other youngsters from a previous band who were staying to watch us.

The priceless moment though..was probably this.When Kenn came in with his gigantic metal effects case,sunglasses and all.I imagined he probably had the same thoughts as us.And was probably going like."What the..." Hahaha..

But well.An audition is an audition.We did the usual routine like we always did.Although we probably stunned the auditioners and the youngsters from the previous bands cos they were screaming and cheering like nobody's business when we finished playing our songs.And thus....amidst a whole day of hoo haa and preparation...the audition ended in less than 10 mins.Of course.We got through la.If not...that would make the whole trip seem so....dumb.

After the audition.Went back to join my grp of friends cos they were having dinner at Marina Square to celebrate Michi's Birthday.And my....what a dinner it was.The final bill came up to a whooping two hundred bucks.No thanks of course to the ten percent service charge and the now seven percent GST.

Zzzzzzzz...

But oh well.At least I can say that the food I had was definitely worth every penny spent.The Katsu chicken Bento and the Mango Ice was so delicious!Especially the Mango Ice...hahaha.Also....it's been a long while since I had a nice conversation(lame jokes and all included)with group of pretty cool friends that I just made over a nice meal.Well.It was definitely something new after all the limited and vice filled gatherings I had over the past few months.Of course..not that those gatherings weren't fun la..but it's pretty nice to have something else for a change.
Putting everything aside though..most importantly...she enjoyed herself so that's all that matters.

Oh well.Since a picture speaks a thousand words.I shall let them take it over from me for now while I go grab some much needed sleep.(Hey I woke up damn early for work today ok.AND IT'S A SUNDAY.Zzzzzzz)

Gomeh ne minna san....:(

I know this time round I really MIAed for a long time.But I seriously have been very very very very very very...

LAZY.

You know that kinda feeling whereby you get out from bed.You turn on your computer.Check for any new Friendster or Whosgoing messages.And then go right back to sleep.

Yup.Was pretty much doing that everyday.And..dun really understand why I'm finding it harder and harder to fall asleep and what's more...when I actually do sleep in the end..no amount of sleep ever seem to be enough.Sighz.I'm turning into an extremely bored and lethargic insomniac.

Putting those aside though.Looking back now.The Street Fest J Rock Taisen....D'J Party Performance...the Ren Ci Vegetarian Food Fest Unplugged..and of course the latest(and probably the last)House of Rock Gig.It has certainly been one hell of a month for livEVIL and me.And to think that just barely 2 months back...the very existence of the band was in jeopardy due to some unresolved misunderstandings.

But.I am truly glad that everyone has persevered..and held on to the common belief and goal of making good music..by putting aside personal differences and working together as a team.The result?Winning 2nd place at Taisen.Getting our very first few fans(I prefer to call them livEVIL friends though :})..growing fame and of course the offer of more gigs that'll allow us to have even more fun than ever before.

You guys are all truly...amazing.

More importantly.You guys allowed me to take the first step towards my dream.To perform on stage for an audience.OUR audience.And for that.I really thank you all.

Well....the emo-ing aside though.This past month has also been one where I've made some decisions about certain people in my life.Like who are the people I should try my best to keep as friends because they're really worth all the effort and also..who're the people I really shouldn't give a damn about anymore.And one thing I've also come to realised is that....some people just become total assholes when they achieve a bit of success...."judging","stereotyping" and "looking down" on other people...disregardless of whether they are friends or strangers....and also not caring whether other people actually asked for their opinions or gives a damn to what they are saying.What I've come to realise about such people is that..they're living in their own damn world..one whereby they are God,almighty and perfect.

In short.They dun actually need any friends or "imperfect" people like us.They just need themselves.So mortal beings like us should just not bother about them and carry on with our own lives and let them be.And oh yah.Another thing I've realised about such people is that they often do not act the way they preach.Telling people this and that...but in the end not doing the very things they speak.At least imperfect people like us who make mistakes do not preach.Sigh....sad pityful souls.I guess that the best place for them would be in their own narrow and pathetic world where they rule.And where they're always right....and where they are the coolest beings on Earth...even though they maybe dorks who dun even give everything a try.Hmm...well.I guess if "imperfect" people we try to go into the "perfect" minds and worlds of such people....it may cause such a castrophic imbalance to occur within their mind and world that they may become mentally unstable.

Thus.It's time to let go of such people.

Man..that felt so good.It's almost as if I've taken a heavy load off my chest by saying the stuff I've been wanting to say for such a long time.And mind you.I'm gonna say this before anyone starts "judging" me again.I will not hesistate to mention the names of the people...or rather creatures mentioned above(if you ask me personally that is.lol.).Just that I'm only trying to be a good netizen by following supposed "blogging rules" stated by a certain someone that there should be "No personal attacks" on my tagboard even though in the end, that very same certain someone associated me with someone he deemed degratory when I had absolutely nothing to do with the incident he was making reference whatsoever.Well.Whatever la.Anyway it's all in the past le.Erased.Fineto.

Now that my rambling has come to an end.I shall end the post with photos from the various events that occured last month.Enjoy guys.And I promise this time round I'll be back with a new post real fast.Tata!

P.S.(Again.)Oh yah..after so long..finally managed to meet up with Bestie and go for breakfast together.(Dun look at me.She's ALWAYS busy.)And oh my.It was certainly a fun filled morning with lotsa teasing,gossiping and lame jokes.As usual..she being the photogenic cam whore she was..thus the above photo was resulted.Damn.It's just so unfair.She ALWAYS seem to look so good in photographs.As for me...enough said.

Anyway I wasn't satisfed so I tried one myself.
