I was rather taken aback when I saw my KLOUT score today.Reason being that I've always viewed myself as a pretty outgoing person who loves making friends online and has always been pretty active on Facebook and Twitter.

Well apparently I was wrong.:(

Come to think of it.This was the same reaction I got after the first COMM215 class."Wow.and I thought I was quite techno savvy already."

Hmmmm....wonder if anybody felt like me and feels like me now.

Conclusion?
Awesome.

In fact.I would go as far to call it THE ONLY app that any photo or camwhore with an iPhone would ever need.

Now, even though some people might feel that most of the other social apps offered similar photo sharing or location services long ago,I personally feel that Instagram is really in a league of it's own.Why?Reason being that it had managed to extract the essence of Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, combined them in style, and formed a simple, user-friendly yet highly addictive app. Especially for people who love taking pictures. So much so that even someone like me who abhors people that go around snapping pictures everywhere hoping to make a quick buck from (you know which local website) has kinda become addicted to taking pictures and sharing them with friends.

Furthermore, it offers users a variety of templates to tweak their photos, hence making even the most plain and boring photo taken at a coffeeshop look like a professional photographer's shot. In all honesty,it definitely has the qualities of a five star app.

Ok.I'm gonna end here before I start sounding like someone wanna be social media critic. In short,Instagram is a must have app for every iPhone user who loves taking pictures.

It was good....

For a while that is.

Generally. The interface looked great. It was super user friendly.There was even the option of photo blogging.

And honestly, I had quite a bit of fun with it.

Until this morning when I realized that the Autopost had been rather.....UNAUTOMATIC.

Evidently I was quite unhappy that my blog posts were not being updated to my Twitter and Facebook, and it's not becuase I'm a narcissitic idiot who wants my posts to appear everywhere. But rather it had been quite a headache configuring all the confusing connectionsbetween my various social accounts and obviously did not want to have to go through the process again. However being the perfectionist I am I tried to activate the Autopost to work even when I am blogging from the iPhone app. Unfortunately, I've had no success thus far.

Help people?

Delicious is awesome.

Period.

Now I don't know if most of you have heard of it before but basically it is a website which allows you to share the bookmarks of your favourite sites with other people on the network. Obviously I'm pretty new to it so I don't really have that many people on my network. But that doesn't really matter. The cool thing is that it allows you to see the most popular or recent bookmarks that are saved and shared by other Delicious users. And I can only say one thing.

Now my online time will no longer be spent on just Facebook and Twitter. Delicious has definitely become a new addition to the family.The site below is just one of the many awesome sites that I discovered through Delicious. Do check it out. But a warning. The content can be pretty jaw muscle damaging.
